The Garden

While daddy golfed the girls went to the garden. Tulip festival was over but you can still see in some of the pictures there were still hundreds there in bloom. Biggest tulips I've ever seen. Abigail loved running free through the grassy fields and picking the pansies, shhhhh don't tell. Emma picked a few pansies herself, but that wasn't quite so intentional.

Happy Baby

Life is good. Jason and I have two beautiful and happy baby girls. Abigail is quite grown up now, she insists on feeding herself, drinking from a real cup, walking, not crawling, up the stairs (with a little help from mom or dad), and she's showing signs of getting ready to climb. Emma is smiling now as you can see, and every once in a while she gives us a little laugh. She likes to be able to see her mom or dad, doesn't like to be left alone. We adore our girls, our little princesses.

Emma came into this world at 8:06 p.m. on 21 December 2008. She weighs 6 lbs. 7 ounces, and is 19 1/2 inches. The love and joy that Abigail brought into our family is now being increased with this new blessing. We look forward to sharing her with friends and family.

In Reach

Daddy hasn't learned that I'm a big girl now. I can stand up and reach anything he puts on the window seal. I love playing with daddy's toys, they're colorful and make noise. Mama is good to me and puts them back up so I can pull them down again. I have to do something to fill my day.

Abigail loves to play with her farm. Her favorite activities are taking the the windmill off the top and sucking on the horses head, I guess the shape is just perfect.
