In Loving Memory

I want to take this space to remember and honor the best friend of my youth. Kandice Amber Mieden. I was six year old when we first met; she was lost, trying to find her way home and stopped to ask me for directions. We were nearly inseparable in our youth. Kandi was everything I wanted to be; strong, courageous, outgoing, friendly, she had a way of drawing people to her and making them love her. Our friendship helped shape who I am today. Kandi passed away on my birthday. It seems a reminder to me of the kindred spirits we were, and though we lost touch many years ago, we are kindred spirits still. I know she is in the loving embrace of our Father in Heaven. I can see her intoxicating smile as she greets other friends and loved ones who went before her. I can feel her happiness as she looks down on her family and all of her friends knowing that, for her, it will be but a moment until she can embrace us again. May her joyful spirit remain with all whose lives she touched.

Thank You Di, I Loved Kandi for many years and because of her I am so much better for knowing her.
I know that she loves you much and that now she can sit in heaven with our Father in heaven and watch all of us and over her Nieces and Nephew that were the world to her.
SHe is forever our angel
